Clean & Climb Mount Snowdon
Sustainability is at the heart of what we do here at Omega Ingredients. So far this year we have purchased a bottle bank, decreased our waste whilst increasing the amount we are recycling, changed our Sample Packaging to become more environmentally friendly and we are now implementing ISO 14001!
The team
On September 19th 2020, fifteen members of our team set off to tackle the Miners Track and Llanberis Path (the two most popular routes up Snowdon & unfortunately the most littered!) We collected any litter we found on route - creating a cleaner environment and raising awareness on litter pollution. In fact we collected more than 100kg litter in one day.

£1,290 raised for Rainbows4children (plus gift aid!)

Our Vision & Mission is to be as ecologically responsible as possible for a Green future. This runs through our team, which is why this year Omega have taken on the challenge to climb Mount Snowdon. The twist? We are litter picking along the way!
Mount Snowdon
We will be raising money for two organisations close to us:
1. Rainbows4children is an independent foundation set up in memory of Nicolas Robinson and provides education for children in Ethiopia, primarily the children of adults with disabilities.
2. Surfers Against Sewage is a national marine conservation and campaigning charity that inspires, unites, and empowers communities to take action to protect oceans, beaches, waves, and wildlife.
